Start your yoga practice in a safe and informed way with this in-depth four week breakdown. Each week will tackle a different set of postures to help you slowly build your confidence and understanding of yoga. This workshop is open to all ages and skill levels. If you have been wanting to try yoga but are intimidated, or you are new to yoga and looking to learn some fundamentals, this workshop is for you.
Week 1 (Feb 5) - Breathing, Sun Salutations and Connecting to Your Core
Week 2 (Feb 12) - Bringing awareness to the feet, hips and legs with Standing Poses and Balance
Week 3 (Feb 19) - Bringing awareness to the spine and back body with Twists, Back Bends and Seated Poses
Week 4 (Feb 26) - Preparation for class with review and linking of poses. PLUS a closer look at Downward Facing Dog
