Yin Yoga is the perfect antidote to urban living! Our bodies and minds crave to be unconnected from our digital lives and re-connected within.
Come to this special 2 hour yin practice and you will tap into your body’s flow of energy while cultivating mindfulness and experiencing a rejuvenating meditative experience.
During the workshop, we will practice a series of floor postures, each held 3 to 5 minutes.
Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues, stimulating the energy meridians throughout the body. While this form of yoga is more passive, it can also be quite challenging.
Yin Yoga is a great complement to the more muscular, dynamic forms of yoga such as astanga or vinyasa. Because of the longer holds in Yin Yoga, you will gain a deeper understanding of the the poses, both physically and energetically.
All levels are welcome and modifications will be provided for any sensitivities or injuries.
