Pranayama 101: Conscious Breathing with Daniel Domoleczny

"Slow breathing is like an anchor in the midst of an emotional storm: the anchor won't make the storm go away, but it will hold you steady until it passes." --Harris Russ
Pranayama is a Sanskrit word that means “extension of the breath or life force (prana).” This Pranayama class is a restorative practice that focuses on meditation and controlled breathing techniques that cultivate stillness, quiet the mind and work at weaving together one's conscious and unconscious states. Simply put, Pranayama is a fundamental part of every yoga style and is an excellent tool that will enhance your practice on every level.
This 75 minute workshop will provide instruction on technique as well as an opportunity for practice. Whether you are new to breathing or have never tried it before ALL levels of practitioners are welcome. Much of what will be covered in this brief class can be directly applied to a Yoga practice and your daily life!

Donation class. All proceeds go to Paws.
