Hi yogis! My name is Audrey and I have been practicing yoga for 10 years. My love for yoga came during a time in my life where I was searching for community, spirituality, and a desire to feel home in my physical and mental body. I knew I always wanted to be a teacher and help guide students to a place of mind body connection and teach them the tools to create a beautiful yoga practice. To me, yoga is all about love, kindness, and being gentle to yourself and the world around you. My classes are centered around these virtues and where I believe strength is built upon. It’s important to me to be accommodating and open to every one of my students, sharing my own stories and life to build relationships and connections. I teach my vinyasa classes with a hatha background, holding poses for many counts of breath, which allows the student to find safe alignment and a time to meditate. My yin classes are balanced between relaxing and challenging, for the mind is at work and staying still in one pose for minutes can be very difficult. I encourage you to come to a class and have some fun for it’s a yoga practice not a yoga perfection :)
